Carbon fiber cannot be ignored in today‘s life. The feasibility to meet a product or to sit in a vehicle in which Teijin carbon fiber has been used is fairly high as the Teijin Carbon Europe GmbH is the leading manufacturer of carbon fibers in Europe. With a total number of 350 workers and employees we are represented in two cities in the western part of Germany. While the divisions Development & Laboratories and Marketing & Sales are located in Wuppertal, the production site is located in Heinsberg-Oberbruch. Since 1986, Tenax® carbon fibres have been produced at our German production facility – today, there are 4 production lines existing with a yearly capacity of 5,100 tons.

Based on the long-term experience in carbon fibre production, we offer semi-finished products for various manufacturing processes: thermoplastic prepregs and consolidated laminates. textiles with specific preparation and preforms (Tenax® Net Shape Preforms). The Teijin Carbon Group is with a yearly production capacity of 13,900 tons world-wide, one of the leading carbon fibre manufacturers. The close cooperation within the Teijin Carbon Group allows us to offer the complete range of latest high-performance carbon fibres. Therefore, we will be able to offer you solutions for diverse applications. Lightweight and high-strength, these properties make it an ideal material for use in fibre reinforced composites for structurally loaded parts of air- and spacecraft, automotive and machine parts, boat building, medical equipment, sporting goods, as well as in the wind-, oil-offshore.
