GMA-Werkstoffprüfung GmbH is part of the Mistras Group Inc. (Princeton, USA), a worldwide group of companies offering complete solutions for system monitoring and security, along with test services (NDT/DT) and in-house equipment production/software development.

GMA is a company accredited according to DIN EN ISO 17025. We have Airbus Lab qualifiation and Nadcap accreditation and are an authorized aerospace technology company according to EASA PART 145.

Competence Description:

Through a wide variety of innovative testing options in the areas of non-destructive and destructive materials testing, as well as materialography and image analysis, our customers can obtain a complete range of testing services, all from one source.

Our services include non-destructive testing with ultrasonic-, surface crack-, radiograpic- andeddy current testing. We can offer destructive testing like mechanical testing, physical/chemical testing, image analysis, reflected and transmitted light microscopy, scanning electron microscope, materialographical testing/analysis and sample preparation. Around 3D-industry measurement/metrology our portfolio includes geometrical measurements, digitalization, deformation analysis, repetition measurements, alternating testing as well as process support.

By multiplying our technological possibilities through Mistras we can offer development and manufacturing of automated ultrasonic systems, immersion or squirter systems as well as acoustic emission testing. With innovative advanced non-destructive testing techniques, used for asset protection monitoring, we support companies to ensure the availability of their assets, to enhance the quality and, furthermore, to save costs.

In addition to our testing services, we provide products as well as systems for non-destructive testing. Besides devices for acoustic emission testing and analysis, our range includes special inspection systems for ultrasonic, eddy current, drag (micrometer), vibration and impact echo measurements. Worldwide, we also carry out special test techniques in the field of acoustic emission testing and mechanized ultrasonic testing during operation. Applications in research, development and monitoring of production and machinery complete our versatile profile.

In the framework of development, research and apprenticeship, we conduct education and qualification of materials tester for composites, classes for NDT, traineeship for pupils, students and technicians. Furthermore, students operate with us, who are part of a dual degree program in mechatronics. We guide them in terms of study and diploma theses. Processes and methods as well as quality management complete our service portfolio.
